Healing and connecting the indigenous tribes of the Amazon to Real Love and Real Life
The church is God’s only plan to fill the earth with those who worship Him.. We believe that thriving, dynamic communities should be led by locals, capable of multiplying, self-sustaining, and transformative. When the body of Christ is active and engaged in worship, the surrounding community is inevitably transformed. We support the local church — including pastors, mission leaders, trip coordinators, and individuals who wish come along side us and show real love to the amazon.
Church Teams
Engaging with another culture while providing essential support to the MMI Amazon team can profoundly impact lives and motivate your church. However, it requires careful coordination and intricate arrangements. We’re here to assist you.

Frequently Asked Questions about Partnership
Do all brigade volunteers need to be health professionals?
No. While we need specialists (doctors, dentists, etc.), we also require individuals with a heart for service to support the Evangelism component. Your members can assist with counseling, family visits, Bible distribution, and logistical support.
What is the average duration of a mission trip or project?
We offer three types of projects: 1-week projects, 2-week projects, and our longest project, which takes place in April and May, where participants can stay for up to a month.
Where will our team be accommodated during the mission?
Accommodation is provided in the cabins aboard the MAU PATA hospital boat. We have various room types available for singles, married couples, and families. Each room is equipped with beds, air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, and closet space.
What type of financial support is most helpful for the mission?
The best and most impactful way to support us financially is by joining a project and becoming part of the MMI Amazon team during your stay. At the same time, you can also become an “influencer” for our mission by sharing our passion and encouraging others to join MMI Amazon, as well as lifting us up through your prayers.
Is MMI Amazon an accredited or recognized organization?
Yes, MMI Amazon is accredited by the Ministry of Health, and we hold the necessary permits from the regional Department of Health to offer our diverse medical services.
Where are meals served?
All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are served aboard the MAU PATA. All food and meals are included in the cost of the project registration fee.
Who handles airport pickup in Leticia?
The MMI Amazon Hospitality Team will meet you upon arrival in Leticia. Volunteers are always accompanied by a team member from the moment they land.
